Into The Beyond

As we stand on the threshold of labor waiting for it to start, I want to affirm for you that we've got you. 

Labor is going to ask you to slow your mind and to deeply traverse into a space where your body and hormones are dancing.

It's safe to go that place. 

It's in that place you're going to transcend anything you've ever experienced before.

That place is going to make you the mother you need to become.

Labor cannot break you, because it *IS* you.

The power of it, the power of YOU, will surprise you.

We will hold the gate while you go, and safeguard the return.

As much as you can, trust what your labor asks of you. 

Your body knows how to birth your baby, and your baby is going to participate consciously to be born.

You can lean into the intensity it will require.

You can lean into the liminal space of not knowing how long.

You can lean into the moments of not knowing where to be next, because we will be with you.

You're going to lead, and we will follow.

You will hold the light and the power.

We will hold the tools and the map.

There is no wrong way to get to the moment where your baby is in your arms.
